Quite simply, coaching changed my life – and today I work as an executive coach and mentor helping others experience that same transformation.
I didn’t always plan to end up here. At school, I was told “girls don’t do physics” but I did it anyway. I was one of only two women on my physics degree course and the first female teacher appointed in a boys’ independent public school. That early experience of going against the grain, of claiming space I wasn’t ‘meant’ to occupy stirred a sense of purpose that’s stayed with me ever since, and has shaped the way I work today as a leadership and executive coach; supporting others to step into spaces they may not have felt were available to them.
My journey into executive coaching and leadership development didn’t begin in business – it began in education.
Before becoming a coach, I spent 27 years in education, first as a classroom teacher, then as a Head of Physics, and eventually as a Senior Leader and the first Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) on Merseyside. As an AST I coached and trained thousands of teachers and senior leaders, developed high-performing teams and delivered leadership development that helped shift whole school cultures.
I’ve coached Senior Leaders across a wide range of sectors, from finance, construction and law to healthcare, the arts and education, helping them win over £42 million in contracts and, more importantly, lead with more purpose, impact and ease.
This foundation continues to inform my work as an executive coach and ICF mentor today.
These days, I work as an executive coach with Senior Leaders, Business Owners and experienced Coaches who are ready for a new kind of growth. I’m an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), an ICF Certified Assessor and Coach Mentor with a 100% pass rate. I am the founder of an ICF Accredited Coach Development and Mentoring Programme that helps experienced coaches step into the next chapter of their practice with confidence, clarity and real coaching presence.
What I bring isn’t just qualifications and experience, it’s presence.
My clients tell me they feel seen, stretched and supported, that I help them notice what really matters. I bring both depth and a lightness that makes it easier to say the unsaid, trust your voice and move forward with integrity and ease.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. I believe in coaching that’s alive, responsive and rooted in who you really are. Whether we’re working together 1-to-1 inside The Coaching Adventure or The Coaching Excursion, in a group at La Dolce Vita for Coaches in Tuscany, in Cath’s Coaching Circle, or in my Coach Development & Mentoring Programme – I’ll meet you with curiosity, courage and the confidence that you’ve got a lot more in you than you realise.
If you’re ready for coaching that helps you connect with who you really are, and not just perform better, then let’s have a conversation.
You know that feeling when you’re ready for change but aren’t quite sure of the next step? That’s exactly why I do this work. Whether you’re a coach seeking credentials, a leader looking for a new way forward, or someone called to deeper transformation – I’d be honoured to explore the possibilities with you.
