Podcast: Sarah Wood

Sarah describes herself as accidental entrepreneur and serial academic who enjoys generating ideas, working with awesome people and making things happen – fast.

She is the co-founder and COO of the multi award winning marketing technology company Unruly, which works with 83% of Ad Age 100 brands and provides an end to end technology platform to help them crack the code on social video sharing. With 13 offices, and employing 160 people globally, Unruly was named by Deloittes as the second fastest growing company in the UK and Sarah ensures the company delivers the most awesome social video campaigns on the planet.

She is an associate lecturer at the University of Cambridge, where she teaches an MPhil course in online video culture and she fronts the Your Life steering group, a Government initiative designed to get more students to take Maths and Science between the ages of 16- 18.

Sarah is also part of the Gazelle Group of Entrepreneurs, helping to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs. Sarah was voted one of 15 Women to Watch in Tech by Inc., one of 10 London-Based Entrepreneurs to Watch by Forbes and #4 in Digital Spy’s Top 10 Women in Tech.
