🌿 Coming Home from Tuscany: Reflections on La Dolce Vita for Coaches

A Week to Remember
I’m home again with my bags unpacked, having coffee in my own kitchen and yet a part of me is still in Tuscany.
There’s something about the week of La Dolce Vita for Coaches that lingers. The golden light, the laughter, the quiet moments of insight… it all stays with you.
This year, six incredible coaches joined me for five days of exploration, playful learning and deep connection. What unfolded was far more than a training programme.
The Journey
We explored how Coaching in Colour can deepen your coaching practice.
We played games with NLP and generative inquiry and discovered how subtle shifts in language can open new worlds of awareness.
We unleashed creativity with LEGO Serious Play .
We wandered through the grounds in reflective conversations.
We shared lots of laughter and a few tears.
The Transformation
It was about curiosity, courage and compassion and the willingness to see what emerges when we let go of trying to “get it right”
What struck me most wasn’t what we did but who everyone became.
I watched each coach soften, then strengthen in that beautiful, paradoxical way that happens when you start letting go of who you think you should be and begin reconnecting with who you already are.
Their listening deepened.
Their insights were more profound.
Their confidence grew quieter but more powerful.
The real magic happens not in the tools we use but in the space we hold, because coaching mastery is about being more human, more aware and more connected to who you truly are.
The Real Dolce Vita
For me, that’s what this work is all about.
As a coach mentor and trainer, these are the moments that move me most , those flashes of courage, compassion and clarity that remind me why I do this work.
When a coach reconnects with their essence, everything changes.
Their coaching becomes more spacious, more alive, more real.
Clients feel it as conversations shift and growth becomes natural rather than forced.
That’s the dolce vita — the sweet life of coaching.
Not the luxury of Italy (though that certainly helps!), but the richness that comes from slowing down, reflecting deeply and remembering why you fell in love with this profession in the first place.
Looking Ahead
As I settle back into life at home, I feel an enormous sense of gratitude for the laughter, the insights and the courage these coaches brought to the experience.
If something stirs in you as you read this, if you get a sense that you’re ready to go deeper, to rediscover your spark and reconnect with your essence as a coach then maybe next time, you’ll be joining us in Tuscany.
Because coaching can change your life.
And sometimes, so can five extraordinary days that remind you this isn’t just what you do — it’s who you are.🌿
Until next time…
