Ditching Superwoman – Lightning Talk

As you know I’m passionate about helping women leaders to get off the leadership roller coaster, to lead in a way that brings fulfillment and joy without the stress, overwhelm and burnout.

I was recently one of a small number of women invited to give a Lightning Talk at the WeConnect International Day Conference.

I was told it should “last about 5 mins, be about you and your business, give tips on how to survive and thrive in the present economic situation and be an inspiration to the worldwide audience who will be watching”.

Not much then!

What could I talk about? How could I do all of that in 5 mins?

After considering a number of things, none of which quite seemed to fit the bill  I decided to keep it simple.

I’d tell part of my story that led to my creating Lead Like a Woman.

I called it “Ditching Superwoman”.

It went down really well. It was great to connect with so many women worldwide who could all relate to what  my situation.

And I got brilliant feedback.

Job done!
